French Teacher (FT), South Central PA

The Coatesville Area School District is seeking an energetic, student-centered French teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. Applicants should have a demonstrated capacity of teaching diverse learners. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum to meet all students’ learning needs in order to ensure academic growth. Candidate should have excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills, effective classroom management skills, a strong background in the use of technology and be highly organized. Candidate should have the ability to motivate and challenge students, and a belief that all students should be held to high academic standards and maintain an orderly classroom environment. Candidate must be able to effectively communicate with parents, students, and staff. Candidate should have a positive attitude and a drive for personal excellence. Qualifications: PA French K-12 Certification. External Candidates must upload required clearances. This includes the Act 34 (State Criminal Clearance), Act 151 (Child Abuse) and Act 114 (FBI Clearance). All Clearances must be within 1 year of application date. Candidates not providing updated clearances will not be considered for employment.
