The PA Language Summit was an in-person meeting of educators K-16, business leaders, community members, leaders of PDE and IUs, etc. to develop a PA Language Roadmap to boost Pennsylvania’s economic competitiveness and to meet the needs of the non-English speaking community by strengthening world language education. The three goals of the Summit were:

  • Develop leadership and advocacy for language education K-16,
  • Develop continuous and effective language programs for all students,
  • Develop and sustain language teacher talent.
