PSMLA Seeks Photographs
Dear PSMLA members,
PSMLA was founded in 1919 and we are now celebrating our 100th Anniversary! The history of our organization (and, in part, our profession) can be found in the PSMLA archives. The archives (check out this example) show a sustained, professional effort by many dedicated PSMLA members to expand and enhance K-16 foreign language instruction in this state. Many dedicated hours of volunteer service were given in the belief that together they could make a difference.
In honor of this year's anniversary, we plan to send out some sample items from the archives which, we hope, will be of interest.
We also plan to put together a collection of photographs from former PSMLA conferences and events for display at our upcoming PSMLA Conference in October. We request your assistance. If you have any photographs related to PSMLA that you are willing to share, please email them to us. It would be helpful to include names and dates. Please send them to: thekla.fall@gmail.com
Thank you,
Debra Wills and Thekla Fall
