Come to the MLA convention in Philly!
Language and literature teachers and professors from all over the country will be assembling in Philadelphia January 4-7 to share teaching strategies, resources, and research. Please join us! Here’s the preliminary program: https://mla.confex.com/mla/2024/meetingapp.cgi and here is a link for the convention: https://www.mla.org/Events/2024-MLA-Convention. Join the MLA to get member rates (sliding scale, and we don’t check!). We are not approved for PD credits, but I’d be willing to talk about it if enough people need it: pkrebs@mla.org

CALICO 2024 Call for Proposals
The 2024 symposium of the Computer-Assisted Language Instruction Consortium (CALICO) will be held at Carnegie Mellon University, from May 21 through May 25, 2024. We encourage PSMLA members to submit proposals--we want to hear about how YOU use technology in your language teaching! Proposal deadline is Friday, October 27, and more information can be found at here.
Even if you don't intend to present, we encourage you to attend the symposium and get to know this international, collegial, and kind group of educators. We are passionate about using technology to improve language teaching and learning!
