Soon we will open registration for our annual workshop in Mechanicsburg at Messiah University on Saturday, April 6. Registration is now open for the 2024 IUP Spring Methodology Conference. This year’s process is using IUP’s Marketplace, and is an all electronic process. Just follow the link and instructions as shown on the Registration page (or from the drop down menu).

Vista Higher Learning & PSMLA Webinar
PSMLA members are invited to join us for a free webinar sponsored by Vista Higher Learning entitled, Cultivating Your Classroom for Engagement and Inclusivity.
Join us February 6th at 4:30pm to listen to presenters, Megan Flinchbaugh and Nathan Campbell, as they present Strong Foundations: Expanding and Applying Vocabulary.
A second webinar will be presented on February 8th at 4:30pm, by Yensen Sierra Lambert. Join us to learn about cultivating safe spaces as she presents Windows, Mirrors, and Sliding Doors: Inclusive Teaching in the Language Classroom.

Pennsylvania Language Forum - Call for Submissions
Do you have an especially engaging lesson? Have you found a tool that enhances your practice? Is there a program you´ve developed that you're proud of? PSMLA invites members to submit articles, lesson plans, and research related to the enhancement of world language education.
The editors of PSMLA´s premier language journal, the Pennsylvania Language Forum, are currently accepting submission for the spring edition.
Members are encouraged to submit their entries by February 1.

Day of World Languages at Mercyhurst
Inviting high school language students to join us for A Day in World Languages at Mercyhurst University on Friday, January 26. Students will participate in:
- immersion activities in Spanish and French,
- learn-a-new language activities in Arabic, Mandarin and Russian,
- our Culture Lab, with interactive art, culture, and language experiences.
Students will also have lunch, hear a student panel, and check out study abroad. There is no charge for the day but registration is required. Register here.
