100 Years of PSMLA: A glance into the archives
In 1941, a symposium led by Mr. Frank Goodyear, John Harris High School of Harrisburg, was held “on the interesting topic ‘Effect of the fall of France on the teaching of French.’” A lively discussion followed and “all present were fully convinced that France would rise again, and that the French language was in no danger of permanent collapse.”
