"Day in World Languages" at Mercyhurst University
High school juniors and seniors (and motivated sophomores!) are invited to join Mercyhurst University's "Day in World Languages" on Friday, January 15. While we normally meet on campus to explore language and culture, this year we will meet virtually. Students can choose sessions that focus on the language they are studying in school (Spanish or French), "Learn a new Language" sessions (Mandarin, Arabic or Russian), and panels on study abroad experiences as well as university student life as a language major or minor. The whole event goes from 9:00-12:00, but students can choose to attend just the sessions that interest them
Students can register by visiting our page, Mercyhurst.edu/visit. The Day in World Languages is located under the heading “Program Spotlight.” They can also follow this event link.
For more information, contact Dr. Alice Edwards, aedwards@mercyhurst.edu. We look forward to seeing you!
