Job Openings Crawford Central School District (Erie area) has a vacancy for a Spanish Teacher at Cochranton Jr. – Sr. High School. Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Spanish is required. Crawford Central School District
The Dallastown Area School District (York area) has anticipated vacancies for a High School French and German Teacher (one position) and a High School French and Spanish Teacher (one position). Each individual will be responsible for implementing the district's instructional program with students and providing the students in their classroom with appropriate instruction and a learning environment that will enable each student in the district to master the basic world language skills outlined in the curriculum. PA teaching certificate, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, and acceptable record of attendance required. Merion Mercy Academy (Philadelphia area), a Catholic independent all girls high school sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, has an opening for a full time teaching position in French and Spanish for the 2016-2017 school year. The schedule includes teaching AP French and Spanish 1. Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School of the Colonial School District (Philadelphia area) is anticipating a contracted Spanish vacancy beginning in the 2016-2017 school year. The department is comprised of wonderful, energetic, and dedicated members of the World Language community and has recently revamped their entire curriculum to focus on authentic communicative competencies and proficiency development as demonstrated in benchmark assessments in the form of the Integrated Performance Assessment. The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with the IPA process and a strong background in comprehensible input. Seneca High School (Erie area) has an opening for a Foreign Language Teacher for the 2016-2017 school year. Certification in French is preferred, but other languages will be considered. Acts 34, 114, and 151 clearances, as well as Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training and Act 168 Sexual Abuse/Misconduct Disclosure are also required. South Middleton School District (Cumberland County - Harrisburg area) is accepting applications for a full-time French teacher. The Upper Dauphin Area School District (Harrisburg area) has an opening for a high school German teacher starting in the 2016-2017 school year. German certification is required and dual certification in German and French is preferred.
