Call for Nominations of PSMLA Executive Council members
Each year terms end for 3 PSMLA Executive Council members. We invite you to run for election or to nominate someone to run for election to serve a 3-year term on the PSMLA Executive Council.
The Nominee must be a member of PSMLA for at least a year, be willing to attend two virtual meetings and one in-person Saturday board meeting, attend the Fall conference, and serve on ExCo subcommittees throughout the year.
Please send an email expressing your interest to Isabel Espino de Valdivia (Nominations and Elections Committee Chair) at isabel@psmla.org .You will be notified if your name or the nominee's name will be included on the Fall elections slate. The nomination period will end at midnight on May 15, 2024

The PSMLA Task Force has created a table of links to scholarships, grants and study abroad opportunities available for language teachers and college students and high school students studying language. Also, you will find free resources to recruit students to enter the world language teaching profession!

Spanish Teachers Needed for Book Review
Ten High School teachers of Spanish 1 and 2 are needed to review 4 or 5 chapters (approximately 20-25 pages) in cultural readers for beginning students. The names of instructors and their school districts will appear in the reader when published.
