Global Seal of Biliteracy
The Global Seal of Biliteracy certifies one’s language proficiency in two or more languages and can be used as a credential for academic and employment purposes across state lines and national borders with a unique serial-numbered document. There are three different levels of proficiency:
- Functional - intermediate proficiency,
- Working - advanced low, and
- Professional Fluency - advanced high.
Anyone can apply for the Global Seal of Biliteracy once they have official documentation of intermediate-mid proficiency or higher in two languages.
