The teacher shortage is now upon us, especially in the field of world language education. It is up to us to recruit our current students to become world language teachers, or world language instruction as we know it will cease to exist. If there are no teachers to fill the void, districts will have no choice except to cut programs or to look for online solutions. I welcome you to join me on Wednesday, May 10th from 4:00-4:30 PM to learn simple ways to recruit students to our profession, to gain access to free resources and to discover incentives for students to go into world language education.
