French Teacher, Slippery Rock Area School District

Blue Ribbon High School seeking French teacher for the 2017-18 school year.  Professional position available.  Anticipated start date August 23, 2017.  Pennsylvania certification required. German Teacher, South Butler County School District

The South Butler County School District is seeking a qualified individual to teach three German I classes at Knoch High School during the 2017-18 school year.  The candidate should be fluent in the German language and enjoy working with adolescents.  Currently the position is posted on the district web site (www.southbutler.org)  as a part time (A.M. morning classes) teaching position.  The employee would receive 50% of a starting salary which also includes a health benefit package for a teacher who is certified in German.

For those individuals who may be seeking certification in German and have coursework completed but do not yet possess their German teaching certificate, the option exists for the district to hire the candidate as a long term substitute with an emergency certification in German provided by the PA Dept. of Education.  The emergency permit is good for one school year.  An LTS receives approximately 80% of the starting salary of a teacher and would have the option to work in the afternoon as a building substitute in our middle school and high school buildings if they desire.
